Hotspot Grand Opening Event at our South Center Office
The Cambodian Association of Greater Philadelphia's South Philadelphia center was recently chosen by the Free Library as one of four hot spot locations in Philadelphia's inner city community. CAGP opened its doors during the Grand Opening event on Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
Each Hot Spot includes computers, a printer, and all necessary broadband equipment, as well as a reference collection of Free Library materials. An Information Technician is available during Hot Spot hours Monday thru Friday 1-5pm. For more information about the Hot Spot at CAGP, please contact Vimul Ros at vimul@cagp.org.

The National Education Policy Summit
CAGP was in attendance at the National Education Policy Summit in Washington, DC from June 13-14. The conference was sponsored by The Leadership Conference Education Fund, League of United Latin American Citizens, and the Campaign for High School Equity.
Participants for the summit included The Cambodian Association of Greater Philadelphia, South East Asian Resource Action Center (SEARAC) and Hmong Women's Heritage Assocation (HWHA). The summit was created to inform participants about education policies, in preparation for legislative visits on Capital Hill.
